Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front surfaces of the teeth. They are anideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular dueto their simplicity and versatility. Placing custom veneers requires a high degree of technical skill as well as attention to cosmetic detail. Dr Hussain has placed thousands of veneers, and designs each case individually to match and enhance characteristics already present in each patient's teeth.

Will they look like normal teeth?
When bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thinporcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea, and even cigarette stains. For strength and appearance, their resemblance to healthy, white tooth enamel is unsurpassed by other restorative options.

How durable are porcelain veneers?
With proper care, porcelain veneers will improve your smile for well over a decade. Dr. Hussain will ensure that your veneers are crafted from the highest quality porcelain and are bonded with the most advanced and proven materials available. Refraining from using your veneered teeth as tools to open and cut things will prolong their life, and if accidental breakage or damage occurs, it is usually possible to replace only the veneer involved.

Crowns

A crown (also known as a cap) is a tooth-like covering placed over a pre-existing tooth. Crowns can serve many functions: strengthening, restoring,or improving the appearance of your natural tooth. For example, a crown can support the tooth when there is no longer sufficient tooth structure left toplace a filling. Crowns may also be used to protect the structure of a tooththat is fractured or broken, and can be attached to bridges or dentures.

Anterior Crown Replacement

Most dentistry looks like dentistry. Our goal is to provide dentistry that is undetectable. We replace existing crowns and fillings with restorations that look and feel like your natural teeth. Custom porcelain bridges or even dental implants can restore the look andfeel of your own natural teeth when front teeth have been lost as a result ofinjury or disease.

All-Ceramic Crowns

New breakthroughs in adhesives and stronger porcelain materials now make it possible to make crowns entirely out of porcelain. To have enough strength to with stand biting forces, porcelain crowns used to be built upon a metal core.If you have ever noticed a dark blue line at the edge of a crown, now you know what caused it: the dark metal inside the porcelain. All-porcelain crowns maintain a translucency that makes them hard to distinguish from natural teeth. Without metal, the problem of the dark blue line at the edge of the gums is eliminated. This allows us to place the edge of the crown above the gumline, which ishealthier for your tooth and gums. When you want to improve your smile,all-porcelain crowns are a beautiful and natural-looking choice

Bridges
A bridge is a custom device anchored to neighboring teeth that replaces one or more missing teeth. When a lost tooth is replaced with bridgework, the teethon either side of the missing one most commonly are prepared as crowns to serve as abutments to hold the prosthetic (replacement) tooth in place. Crowns and bridges are most often made from superior materials such as semi-precious or precious metals, porcelain, or a fused combination of the two. Aesthetics, function, and tissue compatibility are considered when selecting the material most suitable for you.
